Suzin Green & David Freeman Saturday,  January 14 @ 7:30

Join Suzin Green & percussionist David Freeman for a wildly ecstatic evening of kirtan.

Suzin Green has been on the yogic path for nearly 40 years. A classically trained pianist, she fell forever in love with mantra and the wisdom of Yoga in 1977 when she met Baba Muktananda and became a student of Siddha Yoga. The nearly two decades she spent in this tradition formed the foundation of her work as a musician, teacher, and life coach.  Suzin's signature grit, humor, and unwavering acceptance distills complex yogic philosophies down to their essence, offering timeless wisdom for living the best that we are.

One of the early voices of the American Kirtan scene, Suzin recorded the genre classics, Hearts on Fire and Devi Demo between 1999-2001. After a decade-long sabbatical, she began recording The Mantra Project, a multi-album collection of mantra-inspired music. Volume I, Daughter of the Mountain, released January 2014.  L.A. Yoga Magazine called it "Mesmerizing" and said "it will take you to other levels of consciousness." Volume II, Mantras of the Sun released in April, 2016 and debuted at #2 on iTunes World Music chart. Both albums have been called "groundbreaking."
