13 HANDS’ contemporary and world chant/kirtan sound is a cross between uh, everything divine, as all music is channeled from the divine. 
 Influences range from David Grey, Damien Rice, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and various World music styles. Additionally he plays over 20 instruments from various cultures, including Native American flutes, African and Indian percussion, and Hang drum that are incorporated into the contemporary, world and meditative music. 

Musically and Kirtanally speaking, 13 HANDS, is a two time, Grammy nominated artist, He has released 5 albums and has been immersed in contemporary, healing and world music for a very long time, lifetimes even, having presented alongside internationally renown artists, world artists, speakers, teachers, authors and spiritual leaders His Holiness The Dali Lama, RUN DMC, Ani DiFranco, Krishna Das, WAH!, Shyamdas, Dave Stringer, Ours, Paula Cole, Mongolian Throat Singers and Laurie Anderson to name a few; along with being the first independent artist to chart simultaneously on the alternative and world music charts with “Big Lie” and “Ganesha” on his last release, “You Are What You Leave Behind”. 

His live shows are wildly interactive as the audience is completely transformed into his band during various points.. whether it's traditional kirtan, shamanic drumming, contemporary and devotional songs or deeply meditative instrumental music, he shares with a passionate, loving and humorous heart. As a result of his unique journey he has also developed clinically proven, integrative mind/body/spirit and sound healing techniques for the treatment of depression, anxiety and related PTSD symptoms.
